Susan, Sean, Kimberly, Kevin, Timmy, Tommy, Billy

Our frequent collaborator Timmy O’Neill — the madcap mountain man of Front Range Freaks, Return 2 Sender and First Ascent — is the kind of guy that really makes you wonder what kind of background could produce someone so … so Timmy. The curiosity grows when you meet his brother Sean O’Neill, an artist/adventurer who climbs El Cap with his bro despite being paralyzed from the waist down. Well, we just flew to their hometown of Philly to find out. Timmy and Sean come from a family of seven brothers and sisters, each as voluble as the next. The O’Neills were a gracious, loving clan and they played great hosts. We filmed with all of them as part of an episode on Timmy and Sean for an upcoming television series we are doing (more on that later). The trip culminated in the appropriately loud and crazy Mummer’s Day Parade in downtown Philly, where extremely large Philly denizens dress up in wild costumes and get unreasonably drunk.
